Kim and Franco

Back in October I helped my friend Olivia Gird out at Franco and Kim's wedding! Franco and Kim were married in Revere in a traditional Cambodian ceremony, and I have to say, this being my first, it was very, very cool to experience. It was funny because October is towards the end of wedding season, and as much as you try to look at each wedding with fresh eyes, by that time in the year you sometimes feel like you've seen one wedding, you've seen them all. I was feeling that way when I arrived to this wedding... and oh how wrong I was! The dresses, the songs, the gifts, the traditions... it was all very, very cool, very different and very beautiful. Here are some of my favorite images from the day!
Franco, his family and all the guests actually had to leave the house, walk down the street, and then march back and present an offering at the door in order to be let in...

You'll notice they had to wear several different outfits... there was a dresser there to tie their robes properly and make sure everything went smoothly...

This is the one part I had seen before... Katie and Sarin incorporated the red yarn tying into their ceremony back in May!

I'll end with my favorite shots of the day... Franco and Kim being pelted by rice, flowers, and everything else in the room :)
