Julia and Corey

Have you ever met someone, and something simply defines them?  Somebody says, "You know my friend Heather..." and you say "Heather, right, the one with the lime green Pinto!"  Okay, so maybe that's a bad example, but my point is this: sometimes you come across people in life that are completely defined by something.  You are fully aware of their last name, you could pick them out of a line-up, but the first thing you think of when someone says their name is the thing that defines them, the thing that makes them whole.  For "Heather", it's the lime green Pinto.  For Julia, it's Corey. I met Julia my first year at Bridgewater, when I befriended her best friend Sheri.  Sheri was in my sorority, and we became fast friends and roommates at BSC.  Sheri and Julia were inseparable, and so I met Julia a few times as well.  I didn't know her very well, but I knew her last name.  There wasn't a time that I didn't know her last name.  But there also wasn't a time that  I knew her that she wasn't with Corey.  They had been dating since before I ever met her, and they were usually a package deal.  So much so, that Sheri started dating Corey's best friend Brendon, and lo and behold, she married him one year ago yesterday :)  Julia has a last name, a very simple one that's easy to remember, but throughout the years she became known as Julia, one half of Julia and Corey, just as Corey became one half of Corey and Julia.  They fit, they make each other whole, and their love for each other completely defines who they are.  It's a beautiful thing, and so was their wedding at Searles Castle on Saturday!  I had Jess Kaczenski helping me out on this one- you can check out her pictures here!

Let's start with some details, shall we?

I'll end with the cake cutting... which I looooooooved because they played Train's "Hey Soul Sister" while they cut the cake!  Anyone who has ever called me knows this has been my ringback tone for the past 6 months, maybe longer... it's just such a fun song!

Julia and Corey, thank you for asking me to photograph your special day!  I had an amazing time, and I wish you both nothing but the best as you start your lives as husband and wife.  Congratulations!
