Julie and Dan
October. Possibly the busiest month I have had so far since starting to do this whole photography thing. I don't know what it is, but this month has been seriously slammed! Every morning, I have woken up with a full, long day ahead of me, and thought, if I can just make it to October 31st, I will be golden. When you wish away time like that, though, you don't stop to appreciate what's going on around you. This past weekend, I had a wedding on Saturday and then two engagement shoots on Sunday and this one on Monday. By the time Monday rolled around, I figured I'd be dead, but I wasn't. I realized it was because I had SO.MUCH.FUN with all my couples this weekend, and Julie and Dan were the perfect end to that. I met up with them Monday afternoon at Kent Falls State Park in CT, and we had so much fun getting to know each other a little bit better. Julie and Dan are kind of special to me because they were the first couple EVER to not be referred by a friend or family member. They didn't know me from a hole in the wall and found me on the internet, and I cannot WAIT to photograph their fall wedding exactly one year from today! The drive down to Kent State Park was absolutely beautiful, especially since the time of year, and I was reminded how important it is to slow down and not wish time away. By the end of this shoot I felt so much more relaxed about the rest of the week, and I have Julie and Dan to thank for that! So hopefully they like these pictures and accept them as a token of my gratitude for being so awesome :)
Then we had a little fun with props...
I took another ring shot with candy corn that I put on my site... I'm trying to get better at them! :)
I love this one! Hopefully Julie doesn't hate me for posting it :) Aren't they so cute???
After about an hour at the park, we headed down the road to the historic Cornwall Bridge. Here are my two favorites from that spot!
Julie and Dan, thank you for being so amazing and I can't wait for your beautiful wedding in 365 days! :)
