Last weekend I headed to Vermont to do some photography work. It seems like my move is right around the corner, and so I have been busy trying to build a name for myself in Vermont, setting up stylized shoots, meeting with vendors and venues, and becoming a member of the Vermont Wedding Parlor! That last part was such a huge honor for me, and I am so excited to be on board with Carrie and Eric Lane. Seriously, if you're planning a wedding and haven't visited them in Stowe, it's worth the trip. They have an absolutely beautiful studio, and they are doing such wonderful things for the Vermont wedding industry. When they asked me if I wanted to become a member, I jumped at the chance, and I can't wait to work with them in the future!

Anywho, I also got the chance last weekend to meet up with Mackenzie and Matt, my second Vermont couple! Mackenzie found me from my business cards at Fiori Bridal (thank you Geri!) and she booked me a few months ago, but this was the first chance we had to meet and do some engagement photos. Unfortunately it was SUPER bright out, but we made the most out of it and Mackenzie and Matt were so adorable together. They laughed a lot and kept each other smiling, and what more can you ask for in a relationship, really? I am so excited to shoot their October wedding at the Sunset Ballroom. For now, here are a couple of their engagement photos. I am about to take off for another long weekend of photography, so I wanted to post a couple before I left :)

My friend Jill was with me for this session and she grabbed this shot, which may be my favorite from the whole afternoon! And by whole afternoon I mean the hour we were shooting haha. BUT I LOVE IT! Great shot Jill.

The park we were in had a pretty cool treehouse. Unfortunately it was being occupied when we walked over, but we took a few on the outside...
