Good morning! I have to say, I was expecting this whole week to be cloudy and rainy (cause I actually listen to the weatherman) and I was shocked to wake up this morning to sun! Shocked but happy, of course. I love when they get it wrong in a good way. I wish they had gotten it wrong about how devastating Sandy was going to be. I keep looking at pictures online and I still can't believe it.

This morning I'm going to post a wedding I photographed in late September. It used to be very rare that I would get the gallery out to the couple before I got their blog post up, but that's what's been happening this fall- I've just been so behind on blogging! But I wanted to share a few images from Kristen and Rich's wedding in New Hampshire. Kristen is a friend of my friend Shelby's, and I've known for years that when she got engaged I would be doing her wedding. I've known because every time I've gotten frustrated in photography and wanted to quit, Shelby has said "Kristen says you can't, not until you do her wedding". HAHA. I've said it before and I'll say it again- it's so flattering when people just know you're going to be their wedding photographer, no matter what! I was honored to head to New Hampshire and photograph her and Rich as they tied the knot. They met at Saint Anselm, so it was only fitting they got married at the abbey on campus, but what I loved even more was that Kristen's parents got married there as well! Such a special place for the whole family, obviously, and from the minute I stepped on campus I could see why. It is beautiful! I kept saying to them "Why didn't I go here???" :) Here are a few of my favorite pics from Kristen and Rich's special day!
